On the last Saturday of the month, except for July and August, there is a day for teens. This involves an activity outing, such as swimming, skating or bowling, and an evening meeting. Teen club starts at 2pm, and the meeting starts at 6.30.
The discipleship courses run by the centre are aimed at two levels: basic training and theological training.
The basic training courses run on the Saturday morning before teen club every month. Trainees work through several stages in order to become GO Club leaders. These stages start with practical work and discussion groups, go through training in the various club disciplines (memory verse, teaching a chorus, telling a lesson, etc) and then concentrate on various aspects of Christian living.
As of summer 2005, we also run a class every Monday evening for the teens. This involves a time of games, and a time for Bible teaching and discussion on Christian living.
The theological training runs on Wednesday evenings, from 6pm to 8pm, and consists of lectures and discussions on various topics relevant to the Christian.
